You are brand new in open box, Cato Socket X1600* network appliancethat has been reloaded with a fresh installation of the latest version of pfSense (also available with OPNsense**).
It is powered by a quad core Atom C3558 CPUand it comes with 4GB of RAM and a 128GB NVMe drive. It has 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports (Copper/SFP combo), 2x 10Gb SFP+ fiber optic ports and 4x 2.5Gb (Intel I225-V stepping B3 chipset) Ethernet ports. I configured the 1st port (white cable in pictures) as the WANand the remaining ports as members of the same LAN (Switch configuration).
The pfSense configuration page can be accessed at 192.168.10.1, credentials are admin/Passw0rd (root/Passw0rd for OPNsense). In case you need console access baud rate is set at 115200.
As you can see from the pictures, it was able to handle a maximum of ~5Gb of offerirectional traffic. Having a single, whisper quiet fan, small footprint (10" x 8") andlow power requirements, it is ideal for the home or small office.
