This version of these mesh routers is plenty adequate for the average user; even streaming 2 TVs.Covers square area well If you get 3. probably 2 will cover long single story. Only negative is difficult/unable to connect to 2.4 band with 5G phone to set up 2.4ghz item. The manual says there is an IOT (Internet of Things) band but I couldn't find it It might come with next firmware upgrade. That being said, I did successfully connect Echodots, wifi plugs and switches, MyQ garage door openers, Ecobee thermostats, and (somehow) a Rainbird lawn sprinkler controller. I would recommend using exact same network setting as the router you replaced.

Not a great choice for us. My printer is wi-fi but it no longer accepts printing jobs from my laptop. Also cannot get our TV to recognize the new system...TV isn't all that old. Internet seems to be much slower... could be COVID.. For the price...my Google system was easier and lasted a few years. I should have just bought that again.

The orbi mesh is excellent solution for wifi boosting and stability.the 3 set work fine afterbupdating to latest FW .the only disadvantage is the difference of operating voltage and plug type you have to consider.

I love it. Easy to setup. No complaints. Feature request is the ability to set the DNS via the app. At the time of writing, there's no option to allow to modify the DNS to something else.

The next step in the wireless mesh evolution. Great product, setup, app, etc. my only beef is that it displays only one ssid containing both the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. Your client picks what it wants. Not optimal for managing your house full of devices. Terrible for Sonos. Hopefully NetGear will fix in the app.
