Lot of 5 Vintage SyQuest 44MB 5.25" Removable Hard Disk Cartridges SQ400 Cased For Sale

Up for sale is a vintage lot of 5 authentic SyQuest 44MB 5.25" Removable Hard Disk Cartridges (Model SQ400) from the late 1980s / early 1990s.

Before the era of flash drives and zip disks, these heavy-duty 44MB cartridges were the industry standard for graphic designers, desktop publishers, and print shops to move large multi-media layout files. These specific cartridges feature vintage asset tracking labels from an independent graphic design studio in Pennsylvania, adding great period-accurate charm.

Product Details:

• Brand: SyQuest Technology

• Capacity: 44 Megabyte (44MB)

• Form Factor: 5.25-inch Removable Cartridge

• Quantity: 5 total cartridges

Condition & Testing:

These items are pre-owned and are being sold Untested / As-Is due to a lack of compatible drive hardware to read the data sectors. Visually, the internal magnetic platters look clean and intact through the transparent smoke-colored casings. The plastic storage shells show typical light scuffs, vintage handwriting/labels, and minor dust from long-term storage.

Perfect for vintage tech collectors, retro-computing hobbyists (classic Macintosh / early DOS setups), or anyone restoring period-correct computer hardware!
