This is Multimedia over CoAx... using the TV cables already in the house as a broadband network to do away with those annoying Wi-fi glitches. Easy. Make sure any splitters you have are 5MHz - 2400Mz (if not, swap them), hook up one of these things to your modem and a TV aerial socket, hook up the other one to any other TV socket in the house on the same TV signal distribution ring..and there it is...a hard-wired network running just as fast as the modem... :-).. and nearly twice as fast as I used to get from my wifi set-up. Read up on it.. Google MoCA [Multimedia over CoAx Alliance]

I found out about this product while searching for a solution to installing Ethernet cable in my house. Really didn't want to run Ethernet cable from the basement office, all the way the second floor. We have WiFi, but is kind of slow. We installed the unit on an existing cable outlet in my sons room and are presently getting 65 Mbps ,our cable provider has us set up at 60 Mbps. Anyway, my son was smiling from ear to ear,and I am too since I didn't have run cable throughout the house. I highly recommend these MoCa adapters.
A perfect solution to the old thing COAXIAL.

I wanted to use Tivo Mini boxes on my two TVs that don't have a Tivo box but couldn't unless I had a MoCa network. Bought this kit and am now able to see my Tivo programs on all the TVs. Highly recommend!
