Pretty expensive for the length, but it does its job and is perfect for target disk mode, monitors, etc. There aren't many reliable manufacturers of Thunderbolt cables out there anymore.

This was the wrong cable for my needs. Its extremely important to be 100% sure when you order to be sure the thunderbolt cable you order is the correct one as they are deceptively similar to other cable terminals, Its a vipers nest of trouble out there if you mess up as I did. The cable itself is ok and I will add it to my vast array of cables I have accumulated since I started out with a Mac Pro in the late '80s.

This cable performed fine without any problems. I just plugged it in and my Mac Mini saw the attached Thunderbolt 2 docking station without any problems :-). The combo provided a workaround for problematic internal USB ports inside the mini (reported peripherals drawing too much current) even though inline monitor does not verify that problem.
