I purchased a generic mini-display port to multiport DVI/HDMI/VGA adapter to use with my Lenovo P52 laptop. The HDMI worked but VGA output did not work with the P52 laptop, but it worked with an older Lenovo L440 laptop. I needed the VGA output for the monitor I was using so I purchased this Lenovo brand VGA adapter and it worked perfectly.
