I am in an area of Florida were the power is frequently but briefly interrupted during thunderstorms. Since I am disabled I watch alot of TV and use the internet. I connected this product to my internet modem/router and Direct TV box so I do not have to wait for these units to reboot after a power blip. I can not compare it to other products but it has met my expectations in terms of keeping power to the forementioned items and avoiding the prolonged rebooting process.
