The NetGear R6080 AC1000 Dual-Band Wireless AC Router was a great fit for our needs. We have a medium size house and the signal is great within the entire house. Also the price was perfect and the router speed delivers. Our last router gave wireless speeds around 30 mbps and from our provider we are supposed to have 100 mbps with this router we are 92 mbps with wireless and 98 mbps with hardwired. I do plan to increase our speed from our provider soon and I am confident that the speeds will be comparable.

I bought it because I wanted to save money every month on my isp, but this isn't a WiFi router instead is a WiFi booster, signal has improved a lot. Twu bands booster.

It's very good for relatively slow home cable use. I think it will be fine for at least 3 years when cable speeds will start climbing up to 300 or more BPS.

Works great, I have two of these chained together for the front and back of my house. (Probably 50 feet apart) and the range/signal quality is better than other basic routers I've tried (TP-Link and Belkin N300s) maybe due to the AC spec but either way, for basic use these are great routers. No real reason to spend 3-4x on a new model router when this will suffice for HD streaming on multiple devices.

The Netgear router i purchased was a good one but did not meet the internet speeds my ISP provides me I needed one that would do 200 + MBPS and this one would only do 100 MBPS so i had to upgrade to a better model router but this did what it was designed for but i can resell it and make my money back.
