I searched a lot of reviews, the technicolor brand modems are known for being quality with very few issues reported, unfortunately for many Centurylink users, the Technicolor only seems to be distributed in very few select markets. I have been running this modem from the very first second that it came in the door. overall it has performed near flawlessly, I did have one instance where the modem became very laggy. I rebooted it and it has been problem free ever since.

I can't tell whether CenturyLink's service is bad or the modem is bad. It seems that the modem is moody… meaning that it works when it wants to. Other people in our area are quite satisfied with century link. It seems to drop all kinds of streaming, taking way too much time. Everything seems to "timeout" when working on Internet.

I have been totally happy with the speed and reliability of my Ultra DSL connection. When I got the chance to buy my own modem at a reasonable price, I jumped on it to save about $9 per month rental fee. Installation was very easy using CenturyLink's tech support over the phone. They were cordial and knowledgeable, and the modem has not disappointed.

Item was sold as used, but arrived in original packaging, and looked brand new!

For a branded dedicated device, I was surprised with the ability to control and customize it's options and features. The AT&T router my sister uses is barely useable and you can't even control the DNS settings. My modem came without anything broken or missing and it fired up right away.
