As far as I can tell this is a new firewall. Still has plastic on the front bezel and the parts bag was only opened for me to check to make sure it\'s all there. I cannot state whether it was ever used as it was in the box with protective plastic on the front bezel in the back of a server room when I removed it. It is in working condition and I was able to kick off the quick start setup. I didn\'t apply change so it is just like from the factory
