Up for sale is a Vintage Triad Cash Register w/ Clicky Keyboard & BURROUGHS Self Scan BDS40832PD1
Not sure there is much of demand for it as a cash register, but
The display is a giant neon, Burroughs Self-Scan Panaplex BDS40832PD1 9.5\" 8x32 character Display (256 total characters, 8,960 total dots)
The keys aren\'t \"buckling spring\", but you can tell there is a spring that compresses as you press down
That unit turns on, but the first block is just a blinking rectangle and doesn\'t seem to do anything when you press the keys
For some reason, it appears to plug into a phone line
The display seems to have random dots flash about once a second
In normal light, only the active dots light, in darkness, the whole display glows (check the second picture)
