The Brocade VDX 6740T-1G offers 48 1000BASE-Tports and two 40 GbE QSFP+ ports. Each 40 GbE port can be broken out into fourindependent 10 GbE SFP+ ports, providing an additional eight 10 GbE SFP+ portsfor uplink. All 48 1000BASE-T ports canbe upgraded to 48 10GBASE-T ports via a Capacity on Demand (CoD) software license.Two 40 GbE ports are enabled as part of the base license. The additional two 40GbE ports can be upgraded via the Ports on Demand (PoD) software license.
