I got two UPS\'s from my employer as they were being replaced. I purchased new batteries for each, vacuumed out all the vents, and cleaned the bodies & power cables. I then tested them through two cycles to confirm that they work to Tripp-Lite specifications. Apart from some scuffing, they are as good as new.
New, an SU1000RTXL2UA costs between $478 and $650. The best price I found for a new one on the biggest online site (that is so insecure, they won\'t let me mention by name) was $506 plus tax.
