Dresser 540 4 yard loader For Sale

1984 Dresser 540 4 yard loader. This was originally an Air Force machine and was then used by a municipal mulch recycling yard so it has very low hours and has had an easy life. The engine was recently overhauled. The transmission and brakes work very well. This loader has a 4 in 1 bucket which is currently not working. We are willing to repair the bucket for an additional $600 over the purchase price. It is now fully functional as a standard 4 yard bucket. The front tires have about 90% tread left, the rear tires have about 40% tread left. Cab has working heater and wipers. We are willing to sandblast and repaint this loader for an additional $2000. It has a DT466 International Harvester diesel engine that starts easy even in very cold and runs great. It has a 3 speed powershift transmission. Overall this loader has very few leaks and is in good working condition. The center pins and steering are very tight. The loader bucket hinge points are showing some play. We encourage all buyers to come and try out this loader before offerding. We can arrange delivery at buyers expense. It is 11 feet wide and weighs 40000lbs.
