We are committed to full disclosure in honest description of items we sell as evidenced by our over 14 year history on with 100% positive response. Nothing is so frustrating as buying something to only later discover lots of undisclosed issues. We always ask sellers what weak points equipment, etc., has so at least we know ahead of times what repairs we will need to do. So in that regard, below is a detailed description. We purchased this loader last year to do a construction project which was completed and now the loader is no longer needed. We put less than 80 hours on it. This nice Case W14C loader was bought from the heavy equipment training center for Utah State Univ. where it was regularly maintained, being the primary reason why we bought it from there. We bought the loader with 3786 hours and it now has 3842 hours. I listed it at 3860 as we may use it a little more in hauling our family firewood cutting from our log deck to our storage bin. When we bought the loader last year, the listing ad by the seller said, \"USU Surplus is selling a Case W14C Wheel Loader. This is located by Blanding Utah and must be picked up from there. Motor is strong and starts the second it is cranked. Brake system is getting a little weak. Clutch kick out does not work. Does not burn oil. It has 3786 hours on it.\" In regard to the above description, I will relate what we found. The engine is awesome as stated. We had no issues in moving and loading about a hundred dump truck loads of top soil. The hydraulics all worked and no cylinder leaks were seen. Yes, the brakes are soft as stated in the USU sale ad, but they do work, giving us no problem with stopping. Being unfamiliar with the USS stated non-functioning clutch kick-out and it having no effect in our use, we have not looked into that.Since not needed in our project, we have never tried all the accessories switches in the cab, but will be happy to check all if desired by any interested person. The e-brake does not seem to work, but we have never taken time to look into it. Having fixed numerous other truck and equipment e-brakes, I doubt it will be a big issue, but don\'t know for sure. The seat is the only negative inside the cab. We were going to put new foam in and get recovered, but will leave that to the buyer. Should a buyer want, we can get that done.We just changed the engine oil and filter as well as the three hydraulic filters at 3837 hours. I was concerned that the loader seems a tad bit slow and not putting the full power out that the fine running engine obviously has. Our 145 hp farm tractor was doing similar so we changed the hydraulic filters and it was like a different tractor, so we changed these hydraulic filters, but I could not tell a great difference. Certainly being no expert, I looked at the factory shop service manual (which comes with the loader) and see a section for cleaning the hydraulic system. I did not see any described symptoms on our machine that would require this. I\'ve been trying to contact a heavy equipment mechanic here in our valley who is a hydraulics expert, but he is so in demand it is difficult to get him. I would like to find out the details. A few months ago in a phone conversation, he said no problem, he could get that tuned up. The only problem now is getting some of his time.I\'m certainly not trying to diss our machine in all the above description because it does all it is supposed to do, but in the sake of full disclosure, I feel it necessary to say it does not seem to operate as fast as it possibly could.Below I\'ve pasted the details on our purchase of the machine. We are into it about $20K in total in getting it transported to us and servicing work done. We are willing to take a loss in selling it, but if we don\'t get a reasonable offer, we will just hang on to it in anticipation of getting more work for it. In that case, we will go ahead and refurb it in all aspects to like new condition, because it is has a whole lot of life left in it and is certainly a nice enough machine to warrant the effort. The \"other\" payment method on only shows money order/cashier\'s check. We almost always do wire transfers on large items when we are buying or selling. If a buyer wanted to use a credit card or paypal and was willing to pay that extra 3% fee from them, we would consider doing it. If you live close enough, we sure welcome you to come check the loader out and operate it for yourself. We will likewise happily oblige any professional equipment person/mechanic you may want to send to do an inspection for you.If you have any questions, I will be happy to answer them. You can call my cell 4zero6 two2four8. Thanks for your interest in is our purchase info:
